I would like for you to take a second and think about something that you really want. Now that you know what you want I want to you hope that it will could to you. Spend a minute or so thinking about this. Try to notice all the feelings and thoughts that you have. Take not of these feelings and thoughts.
Now I would like for you to think about the same thing and but this time expect to obtain whatever it is. Again take note of the thoughts and feelings that you are having while expecting this result to happen.
Now compare the results. Did you feel more motivated and energetic expecting or hoping? If you are like most people expecting got you more energetic and excited. It probably gave you a feeling of wanting to do something towards its obtainment. It may have also gave you a feeling of certainty that will obtain this item or goal.
How did you feel when you were hoping? Was there a possibility of things not working out? Did you feel it more a sense of chance? Were you motivated to take action in the direction of achieving the goal? You most likely felt less likely to act because hoping does make the mind believe that is mostly by chance.
For the next 30 days try expecting the results you want in life and see what it will produce. I bet you will be surprised.

Pain VS Pleasure
More articles like this at Fitness Miracles. website
I going to start out by saying that you have two main motivators that is the cause of everything that you do or don’t do. These motivators are Pain and Pleasure. And what I would like to do is show you how you can use this to improve anything in your life. Once mastered, you will be to achieve anything in your life and you desire. This is like the “Secret on Steroids”.
To illustrate my point I will use a weight loss example but you can substitute weight loss with any other goal.
As I said before there are two factors that motivate people. These factors are pleasure and pain. Everything you do is for two reasons. It is either to gain pleasure or avoid pain. And usually avoiding pain it a greater motivator. So what if you have a choice between two things that is painful? You pick the one that is least painful. It is just how we are. So why is this important?
Well let’s look at this from started an exercise routine and a diet. You want to look better (to gain pleasure), yet you have to exercise and most likely you will be sore when you start (Pain). You have to give up your time that you could be using for something else that you enjoy (Pain). You have to stop eating the things that you love (Pain).
So right now you are using your will power to forcing yourself to do all these things. Your saying I have to go workout, I don’t want to be sore and I hate vegetables. You want this pleasure again. Yet you force yourself to work out and eat right. You see how much resistance and struggle you are going through?
You have been doing this for awhile now and you lost some weight. The pain over being overweight lessened. Although the exercise and diet still cause you pain. Now the pain of being on a diet and exercise plan may start to outweigh the pleasure from completing your weight loss goal.
Then you have a bad day (Pain). At this point skip workouts and over eat. You do this because the pain of exercise, your diet and bad day is greater than the pain you being overweight. You convince yourself that it is OK, “I’ll work out twice as hard tomorrow”. The funny thing is that you usually feel guilty about doing this (Pain) which only provokes you to doing this more.
When you fall back to your old ways your mind says “I like this” and you reinforce that this is the pleasure that you want not the weight lose. So then you fall off the diet and exercise plan until you gain back the weight or more (Pain). Now at this point the pain of being heavy is greater that the pain of dieting and exercise, so you start exercising. The cycle starts again.
So how do we get by this? We need to create as pleasure to accomplishing our goal and on the opposite end create as much pain to not achieving your weight lose goal. We need to pull out a piece of paper and pen. We are then going to make two columns. The first is column is going to be all the pleasure that we are going to receive when we achieve our goal. The second is going to be all the pain we will receive if the goal is not accomplished.
We want to list as many reasons as possible. When looking at the list if you are not motivated to immediately do something you need to add more. When you read the pleasure column you should feel uplifted and energized. When you read the pain side you should feel disturbed. You need to go over this list multiple times a day. You may also want to write these down on a separate piece of paper and carry it around with you. Whenever you feel you do not want to follow through with your weight loss plan read this list.
We also want to look at the things that would hold you back from achieving you goal. Make sure that you link pain to this. Associate that double quarter pounder with cheese from Mc Donald’s with pain. Every time you think of eating one, think how fat you will become. Think of your arties clogging and sluggish you will feel. It’s OK to exaggerate.
Lastly, come up with rewards that you can give yourself when you do something to achieve your goal. This will associate pleasure with the activity of achieving your goal. That is the key. Make the activity of achieving your goal as pleasurable as possible and achieving that goal will become easy.
Good Luck and I hope this helps.
